Psychosis is a condition which affect the mind, where there has been some lost of contact with reality
LSS drug- it is a type of drug which can cause psychotic.
Mechanism of LSS drug
1. The action of drug occurs in mesocortical pathway in the brain.
2. It binds to D2 receptors of postsynaptic neurons, prevent dopamine to bind it.
3. Lack of dopamine here causes negative symptoms as mention above.
Therapeutic uses: NO…it is harm to mental and physical health…
Pharmacokinetic
LSS drug has slow onset and brief duration of action.
Effect of the LSS drug
• Lack of motivation
• Keep Worrying

• Bad-tempered
• Lack of concentration in studying

• Loss of appetite

Treatment
- Abstinence based- I will try my best
- Overwork therapy- so that don’t have free time to take the drug.

u may take some anti-psychotic drugs which hv dopamine antagonist effect such as clozapine to balance it bec:)
anyway, wish u all the best as i know CNS is a difficult topic..n i wil definitely be like u in my 3rd year.^^
SIAO ahhh...clozapine!!haha...the side effect too strong...donwan donwan...eat atypical types enuff..can cause weight gain tim...or i eat u la..lolz..
that's cool to know ur pharmoco..
